Employment
The Greenfield Police Department serves a population of almost 38,000 residents with a daytime population over 100,000. The City of Greenfield is a “first ring” suburb of the City of Milwaukee covering 12 square miles and sharing our eastern and northern border. Greenfield is the youngest municipality in Milwaukee County having incorporated in 1952. Each year, Greenfield police officers handle more than 35,000 calls for service addressing crime and quality of life issues. We pride ourselves on the strength of our working relationships with departments and community members throughout the area.
