COVID-19 Vaccine

The Greenfield Pre-Registration for COVID19 Vaccine list is now closed.

All eligible individuals that are interested in the COVID19 vaccine are encouraged to sign-up for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment at a local pharmacy, with you healthcare provider or other community clinic. The Greenfield Health Department has had the opportunity to vaccinate over 8,400 people at Greenfield Clinics and at clinics held in partnership with surrounding communities at the Milwaukee Sports Complex.

Looking for a Moderna or J&J Booster: While the FDA Panel has recommended a Moderna and J&J booster for certain individuals based on their risk level, this is only the first step in the process of being able to provide boosters to residents.  Next, these recommendations need to be approved by a Centers for Disease Control advisory panel.  Following this approval, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services updates their recommendations and clinical orders and we get approval from our medical advisor.

The timing of this process is unknown currently, but we saw this occur in a couple weeks for the Pfizer boosters and would expect the same.  Please be patient as we navigate the next steps and know that the Greenfield Health Department will be providing Moderna and J&J boosters as soon as we can.

In accordance with prior CDC approval, however, individuals with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive an additional dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 days after a second dose

At this time we are only doing a limited number of appointments. Click here to schedule online or call 414-329-5275.You can also search for vaccine availability at local pharmacies by visiting www.vaccines.gov .

I have had COVID in the past. Can I get the vaccine?

Current evidence suggests that reinfection with the virus that causes COVID-19 is uncommon in the 90 days after initial infection. Therefore, people with a recent infection may delay vaccination until the end of that 90-day period if desired.
